Hello all, I spent almost 3 years playing on Stadia, some times heavily and exclusively on Stadia (even though I have somewhat decent gaming laptop, Xbox Series S and PS5) but Stadia was something different. I was also one of the top ahcievement hunters (within top 10 according to StadiaHunters.com). So I thought we all should tell Google why we started and what we will be losing because of this shutdown. Simplicity First of all, I absolutely loved the simplicity - I normally work in the office (outsource things so really, my work would only involve spending a few hours a month to receive money and pay money). I had a ton of time so I could play in "office". When back at home (different room, actually), I would turn my TV on and would play using CCU. It was super amazing and if I'm fast enough - I don't lose any progress and just continue where I left off in "office". Different gameplay Of course, some games were easier with keyboard and mouse (shooters, mostly) while other games were easier with controller (adventure games like AC games and driving games). Humanity was almost unplayable with controller because mouse is so much easier! Curated games Of course, Stadia lacked a ton of great triple A games but it also didn't have crappy 10 minute achievement/trophy completion games ... My favourites were AC and FC franchises so I was satisfied ... I never was into competitive games anyway ... Some cool indies I discovered because of Stadia Pro. I would have never actually played or considering Calico, Lake, Figment, SpongeBob, Destroy All Humans!, Saints Row (yes, the first Saints Row I played was Saints Row The Third Remastered as it was heavily discounted on Stadia or was it a Pro games, I can't remember. It's strange as someone with 25 years of experience but never played Saints Row game which is amazing, I'd say). What you claim - you keep Stadia Pro was different from any other competitor such as GamePass. Games would rotate. Games would also rotate on Stadia but whatever you claimed on Pro - you'd keep for as long as you are a Pro member. I easily claimed 150 games or so. That's probably easily £x,xxx saved due to Pro membership. Play first No downloading games! You just buy and play straight away. I remember when ACV came out, by the time my friends downloaded the game I was already raiding England! Quick fix Of coourse, no updates means that you can launch a game within a minute. Got a break? Play Stadia. Also, ability to play 4K games on a phone was something super amazing. So much better than playing native mobile games ... and no downloads, no storage requirements ... So yeah, it was amazing 3 years I had. I still should receive nearly £3k from Stadia refunds so I will be building a proper gaming PC (not laptop but rig!). While I'm probably gonna quit achievements hunting as it was such a grind when you spend 100-150 hours on a single game ... I invite you all to share your positive experiences ... I'd do this on Reddit but people are toxic there so ... xD

Only Slaycation, Somni, Snowtopia and Gravitar looks interesting to me ...
Despite Saints Row receiving some bad reviews, I actually love it! Thanks for this, Google, now if somebody could fix all the achievements for Saints Row IV: Re-Elected
Oh my! Also, it’s very annoying I can’t use CCU + Elgato Capture Card + OBS. I need like splits and other stuff for it to work
Saints Row The Third Remastered is such a great game! Shame I already completed with all the achievements on Stadia xD looking for 28th of July + Calico
Very pumped for Roguebook and Worms. Also, Atari additions. Please add achievements also xD
Excellent, despite those 4 new games claimable tomorrow, I will also add Ben 10 and Golf With Friends to my already extensive library. I will have 219 games on Stadia by the end of tomorrow. Thanks S... See more...

So Through The Darkest of Times straight to Pro line-up, perhaps? As well as Deathrun TV. Am I wrong?
Around 40 hours or so

So, got this yesterday: While grinding the last achievement for Far Cry Primal. Of course, for The Darkside Detective 2, I only needed the last 2 achievements because of the DLC. So I quickly spent 15 minutes playing the last bonus case while resting from the grind. And, of course, just finished this: I absoultely love Primal, probably one of  the greatest FC games but 10 hours for the last "Expert Wenja" achievement was too much. There you need to acquire all the skills, meaning you have to max your exp level and complete all additional Help Wenja side quests that give you skill point as a reward. Crazy. Next, thinking of Outriders (as only need 3 achievements as, again, DLC came out), Submerged, SpongeBob, Kona and then probably go back to Cities:Skyline and Assassin's Creed III Remastered grind
nice! Another easy 150 or so achievements

Hi all, I took a week off playing on Stadia. There's this thing called "life" unfortunately. Anyway, with yesterday's 2 new games released (one of my FC all time favourites after FC 6, of course, and City Skylines), I think I will be taking a break from AC 3 Remastered. In the afternoon, however, I was still playing Assassin's Creed III Remastered, spent hours completed hunting challenges and hunting society's missions, and finally earned this: In Good Standing The achievement requires completing all challenges (and missions) for one of the clubs. Finally, earned that, also got most of the chests but this has no achievements tied specifically to collecting all chests, bit it is required for "Completionist" achievement. Anyway, since Cities: Skylines dropped straight into Pro line-up, and there was 6 hours gap between Cities: Skylines and Far Cry Primal, I, of course, played Cities: Skylines for 4 hours. I was immediately hooked and I absolutely love this game. Here are the 15 achievements I was able to earn: Pioneer Green Energy Unpopular Mayor Well Informed Foggy Weather City Planner Lawmaker It's Called Steve Nomen Est Omen Rolling in Dough Power at Your Fingertips Singing In The- SIMulated Town Safe City Climbing the Social Ladder And of course, I also played Far Cry Primal for about an hour. Earned 3 achievements: This Way To Oros Spiritual Advisor Home Improvement This weekend (yes, it starts tomorrow afternoon), I have nothing but time so I expect to finish the whole FC Primal game and achievements by the end of this week
Well, I have Pro and Ubi+ so both games will be free for me ... thanks! Primal is probably the best Far Cry game (apart from FC 6, of course)

Guys! A quick update on Assassin's Creed III Remastered progress - my plan didn't work out as I barely played the DLCs. However, here are the 3 achievements that I was able to earn: Magna **bleep** Laude - Have a Trainee reach the Assassin Rank (I actually got 3 of them as assassins now) Monopoly Man - Send a convoy to Boston, New York and the Frontier Original Gamer - Win a game of Fanorona, Morris and Bowls in the Homestead For the Original Gamer - I thought I'm just quickly gonna win against the AI but, boy, was I wrong ... spent 5 hours on this achievement alone. I mean I thought Fanorona was the toughest as I spent like 2 hours on it but then Morris came up ... and when you get 3 pieces vs 3 pieces where you can move pieces anywhere you want ... it just becomes a chase ... won it eventually ... and then bowls ... the only thing that really helped me win this game was the glitch when you open map while Terry is throwing a ball, then, if you time it well - he will drop the ball. And then I also started working on one of the clubs challenges ... and of course I picked the hunting society which is problably the longest and hardest. Now I am stuck on 3rd (last) tier and I need to skin every type of animal and finish the hunting map (whatever that means). Also 6 or 7 hunting society missions. I think I might finish this one today. Since I am going after all the achievements, I will have to complete all challenges for all clubs anyway xD Will keep you posted.

@RXShorty  Yes, well, my business requires me to work around 2-4 hours a day so during pandemic I was playing video games. Mixing between Stadia, Xbox and PS. Now that I will need to expand and be able to travel more - I will have less time for games and I certainly don't want to wait for a 80 Gb update to download ... if you know what I mean? but yeah, will be focusing on Stadia now. I played Outcasters for like an hour or two. Will certainly be hunting cheevos here as well. Completed Gunsport. Also, tried The Crew 2 - I just find open-world racing games a bit annoying when you have to drive to the next race. Not all such games offer fast travel to the next race. In general, NFS Underground 1 & 2 were best ... even though I contradict here myself since Underground 2 was kind of open world xD

Hi there, I had created a similar thread 2 years ago. Since then I still kept hunting achievements every now and then but now I am back to hunting them once again. This week I hope to finish entire AC III Remastered DLC pack meaning I would only get 12 more achievements to earn I'll get back to this thread
Wait, are you saying that cheats become available as you earn achievements? I played THOTD, got 9 cheevos with no cheats. This looks very interesting

The House of the Dead is great! Plays super well with keyboard and mouse. Can't imagine playing it with controller ... would probably be harder. I also hope that Elemental Wars 2 will launch with achievements BUT Lumote did not launch on Stadia same time as on other platforms. As far as I remember, Lumote launched on 24th of April on all platforms but Stadia. Lumote launched on Stadia on 1st of May straight into Pro line-up. I mean, it's fine because I would have waited for Pro addition anyway xD
