Having first pay games never had been an obstacle too be an interesting platform for this party developers. Absolutely all console manufacturers have first pay games. So it's proven that there is no conflict on that side. Games industry is one of the most profitable right now. Making ganes is not burn cash, it's an inversion,. I'm fact there has been no time nor chance to burn anything as of now.  And for any business confidence is key. SG&E's existence shower Google trusted this platform. And that is the most important thing when you try to sell a product. Show you trust yourself. Now they have publicly started they don't think Stadia is worth their investment, why should anyone else do what Google doesn't want to? Has anyone thought how much money did M$ lose when they entered the console business? How many years took them to make it profitable? Why should Google be different?

Closing SG&E can't be seen as good news. It's bad. And for a lot of reasons. Developing games is a task that takes years. Google knew that since day 1. Having SG&E showed Google was committed to the platform. And that makes players use the service. What matters is NOT if it's easy or not to port a game, BUT if there is people using that service. If you take out the confidence of players in Stadia, there won't be users, si there won't be any business. Stadia has unique features that need to be shown so other developers take advantage of them. SG&E was the best way to do so. Does anybody remember Wii Sports? Was that an expensive game to develop? No, it was a great game to show the capabilities of the platform. Would you spend time developing something for as platform when the platform creator (who is paying you) doesn't think it's good business to develop for that platform? We NEED SG&E back. Well, not us. Stadia NEEDS SG&D
@LordVivec I'd say that then not giving a response is the expected behavior. As always developers and publishers wait until their own announcements to give that explanation.
Yeah, I think it could be ready to create an Android emulator, although maybe there would be an issue the management of the games, if they are all preloaded in Stadia servers (just like Stadia works)
Well, my guess is that the game will be released as a Stadia gave just the same time as the other platforms, I simply think it makes no sense to buy a developing company and priorize other companies..

Well, there are some issues that are more related to rights and exclusiveness than related to hardware. It will simply be most difficult (of not directly Impossible) to see a Mario game outside a Nintendo console. Bit even when it's true what is said about paying for a game you can play for free in an emulator, other consoles do sell old games. Anyway I also think the primary Target for Stadia is not this King of games.

Well, for all of us -being myself the first- to say there was no new about me hand, we just received 4 new videos in the Stadia YouTube channel: Lost Words, being the page just looks amazing, simply beautiful, and a Stadia First game! Splittings just looks like crazy fun, also Stadia First Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks) maybe send a little simpler, but hey, here it is, and, once more, Stadia First. Serious Sam Collection, lots of blood and shooting,, never play a Serious Sam game so maybe it's a good start. Doom Eternal, and this has a release date; 3/20/2020 So, here they are! At least 4 new games in the pipeline Edit: Here you have the tweet with this for announcements plus one more game.... Added Link to Doom Eternal

Hi @Pondussen  Stadia and GeForce Now are quite different services for a lot of reasons. I'll try to show them all, from the information that is on the web. Platform itself: GeForce Now is not a gaming platform, I understand it as a Remote PC were you can pay the games you have in other Playgirls like Steam, etc (a quote clever approach, I must say). It works with a cue, so when you want to play you're added in the cue and when it's your turn you start playing. The service also works by sessions that end once the time has been consumed. GFN cannot add features to the ones the games providers have, as it's "only" a intermediary Stadia is a more classical gaming platform, that means that you only can play the game published for Stadia, or doesn't work with cues, what means immediate access to your games and had no time limit for the sessions. Being a classical platforms means you'll have unique features not possible in other platforms, like the future YouTube integration, etc. Free version GeForce Now limits the free version to sessions of 1 hour a day, of you want to play more you'll have to pay. The free version adds you to the end of the cue, what means waiting times. You can play the games you bought. Quality is HD, although they never day what resolution do they offer, and their website gives no information about sound. Stadia Base (still not available AFAIK) has no time limit for the sessions, you can play the games you bought. Graphics quality is 1080p with stereo sound. Subscription As of now GeForce Now only explains a limited time offer, not giving us the final price for is subscription, what would be a good comparison data. If my memory doesn't fall, the offer asks for 5$ a month, and gives you 6-hour long session time (no limit on sessions per day), and puts you in front of the cue when you want to play. No offers in games. Graphical quality isn't specified, just says it's better and now, as an aprecian offer, gives rautracing. No data on sound quality. Stadia, as we all know asks 10$per month, with no cues not session time limit, sand gives free games and discounts on other games. Graphics are promised in 4K and even 8K on a future with 5.1 sound. Hardware: GeForce Now only needs dedicated hardware to play in a TV, in that case you'll need a shield TV, that is worth around 160$ Stadia only needs dedicated hardware to play on a TV, too, where you would need a Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia Controller (around 150$ out of the premiére edition offer) Both services are interesting, but they're really different, depending on what you need you'll prefer one or the other,

It has been said that we're asking for Google to say something about the 120 games they said they would have this year, and that this is useless and ridiculous. We're giving our opinion about a fact - that's what forums are for. And I think it has to be discussed as many times as any member considers it worthy of his time and effort. I would add that the fact that it has been tasked about -and it will continue being so, is simply because that's a subject that worries a lot of Stadia users, and that is what shows whoever might be interested (and that should be Google) the importance of the matter.

Thanks for the"ridiculous" part, it's always good to read that kind of replies. There was a launch yesterday, yes, and there is no schedule on the future also, maybe if you take a look at what happens with other platforms you'll see that there are always done games listed with no specific date, but something like "first quarter" , etc. Do I need to know that? That's not the point. The point is that Stadia needs desperately to show it will have a consistent library, even more when the 3-month free PRO subscription for fingers end in February and there are no games in the horizon since last summer. If Stadia is to attract more games or has to be by showing it will have a good library, and they simply doesn't happen.

Couldn't agree more. I understand there are lots of factors in here and the fact that unveiling launching dates is the publisher's choice, but it would be good to have some tentative schedule, as we can see in other platforms, that would show some long-term extectations and generate some interest.
Although it looks like a good idea I think there are some hardware-related issues right now, let's hope with some time Stadia will become more widely available.

Stadia needs to have more games in its library, and that is a major point when you try to attract customers. Of course Google can do something about that: pay developers to make a good port for Stadia and develop first-party games. That last point takes years to show some result. Service is great and the subscription is ok for me - I could be all day playing Destiny 2 - but they should add features and games before Stadia Base is released.
Well, I guess there will be something, at least I hope so...

Gracias!

Hi again, The Stadia team told me though Twitter that Split payment is only possible in full-priced games (the one I bought - Gylt and the one I want to use my credit - Kine are both full priced, so it's not the problem. After that they told me to contact Google Pay, who didn't answer, and where I cold have no support at all.
