Yes Stadia is still in the start up phase ( and   have still lots of potential) But still when it's been that quiet with no official announcement for that long on a product that just started up, I would say it is far from optimal marketing strategy.  It went completely dead for a long time and we are finally now actually starting getting updates and pro deals and actual information. But after the Reddit post I linked   antoo aboved with the amount of answer's from Stadia players it got, pluss  that it  started trending. The updates sadly feels a bit panicked and feels more that focused on putting out fires instead of being proactive and steering clear of actually creating fires from the start.

It has been out for 69 days. It's time we demand better."   And personally i thought that the main homepage for Stadia would be the place that delivered the updates, instead of a 3 party page as  9to5google but looks like i was wrong.  

Sadly the few times i have presented Stadia too other people  ithave been lagging I usually need too restart 3-5 times before I get lag free gaming on Chromecast ( but I noticed that starting games from tablet and not from the  controller seems to help) But when Stadia work it really does work, but when it's not it is almost unplayable

Stadia is not dead. But thanks to Google and the complete silence (I mean 35+ days without any official announcement) I just will not invest any fresh money into it.   Feels like Google got scared and released the platform way before things where actually in place and ready ( worked "well" first two month but after that there where no more existing plan ready.)

But what about games that have been offered as a free game as Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. It is no longer a pro free game any more. What if the game in 4 months time get a pro discount attached , should pro (already claimed) be able to buy it? And yes I bought Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and happy I did ( if I stop subscribe I still have the game)

For me it will be am I happy with the quality and service Google Stadia have delivered too pay for it If I find the support, communication and playability have not been good enough in the end of february I will just stop investing any money into it. Google do not owe us anything and we do not owe Google anything, in the end its  all about are we happy about  what we have been served up to that date

Q1 and beyond means between now too never. Starting rolling out basicly means that could be only be that the app supporting just one more android phone in the next 3 month. As of now sadly we know nothing more or less then we did last month.   I will use the next real community announcement as a benchmark if I will continue buying games on the platform . Or if I will it use it as a casual backup that is still in beta ( I will see what the monthly games are and decide  if It is worth it month by month, with no other investment)

I noticed one thing that maybe can be of help. I usually experience more lag if i start the game, from just turning on the controller.   But If i start the session from the app to the chromecast, the session usually goes more smoothly. Have no idea why

Actually where do they state that ? From the blogg "Looking at our upcoming lineup, we are tracking more than 120 games coming to Stadia in 2020, and are targeting more than ten games in the first half of this year alone that will be only available on Stadia when they launch" Tracking and Targeting implies that nothing actually have been decided \ signed

In business this is what  people calls a puff piece. Basicly a play with words that says  nothing and promise nothing ( while still sounding good ) Using the blogg instead of the official announcement is also a smart business choice  if or when being called out on something written in the blogg.  Having the ability to say nothing official was ever stated  and or promised is golden  (at least in the digital world) But I rather take a puff piece then the complete and utter silence that Stadia have given us the last month Started to think all Stadia employees had joined a convent and taken a vow of silence

the 6 dec i answered that i was content with stadia and how they managed it,and that i was not let down.   But now i actually starting feel let down from the complete and utter silence from them. I mean we are now four  days from a full month, since the last lifesign from them on their own homepage. i expected a bit more professionality   But i think i am also a bit damaged from work ( working in project management/digital sales) and one thing i really hate from my suppliers is the silent treament

For me as casual gamer I thought Stadia could enhance and complete switch... Turns out switch i so much  more portable and versatile ( as of yet) Was a week away+ from home with family, and Stadia pulled the shortest straw on playability. And I still have the same feeling at work and away from  home ,I only play Stadia on Chromecast from the living room( feels like 75% of what is Stadia was promised is missing)

I think next update will be a pointer and should be used as a benchmark on the future of Stadia. Small update with only small changes. Vs Big update with a lot of changes. We are soon one month without any update at all ( update on the 20th was which games that was pro Stadia in January with a round up,) With a small update the upcoming days I will state that Stadia have more core problems then anyone could expect.  Medium to large update shows that developers is working on it ( without core problems)

Actually it is the lack of updates and information, that made me think of freezing my subscription (3 weeks from last community update is not inspiring confidence). Stadia is more and more feeling as a half baked attempt, w hat should have been a really good cake is now instead dripping on the floor in your living room. But I do hope I am proven wrong because Stadia do have potential and I will wait until the last day until I decide if I will cancel my subscription.
