I'm so glad I bought Cyberpunk 2077 and got the Stadia Premiere so I have a second controller that is not linked to my current Chromecast Ultra for my iOS devices and I have a backup CCU ready to go in case the one I have kicks the bucket. I'm 25 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and while the criticism is deserved, I think people are focusing too much on the negatives instead of playing the game. That game helped drive more new Stadia users and the Stadia sub Reddit is closing on 100K which means 1/4 to 1/3 of those were new users thanks to Cyberpunk 2077. Be ready for another push when Madden & FIFA comes out early next year. Like many people here, I used to game with cartridges in the 1990s then there were CD & DVD copies of the games on the PS1 and PS2. With the 360 & PS3, it introduced the ability to download games to a storage drive on the console. 19 years of cartridges & discs gave away to 13 years of HDDs & SSDs and now Stadia is the next evolution in gaming. Here's to the next 10+ years of gaming in the cloud.

I think it is safe to say that expectations were higher for this month's Pro lineup of games. BUT...Sundred, Reblique, and Risk of Rain 2 appear to be good choices. I have wanted to play Sundred & Reblique for awhile and I finally get my chance. I'm assuming that more games are being saved for 11/19.

I honestly was underwhelmed by the Good Stuff event because I'm a regular gamer not someone who is on the fence when it comes to Stadia. I was like the heck with it and started playing the demos. That is when it hit me that this is a great way to get people who are on the fence to try out Stadia. Anyone remember going to stores such as Walmart, Target, GameStop, Best Buy, etc and trying out games & new systems? That is indeed Good Stuff! Getting those demo exclusives appear to be very important for a cloud gaming platform's success.
October 20-22...marked on my calendar. All you need to do is announce a release date for Madden NFL 21. I'm sure the Stadians across the pond are waiting on FIFA 21 too.
Played with that on my Vita and enjoyed it. If Stadia can handle those games given how timing is important, that's a good sign for Stadia overall. What would be even better is the release dates for...

What would be even better is the release dates for Madden & FIFA. I'm playing Madden NFL 21 quite a lot and can't wait to have one less reason to own a console.

It's great to see more indie games coming to Stadia and there could be some real hits out there. Guacamelee! was one such hit for the PlayStation and if a few of those Stadia games are as big of hits as that Guacamelee! was, it would be great for Stadia. People need to appreciate indie games because sometimes they need breaks from those AAA titles every once in awhile.
