@Commotus  I get your points, but don't get me wrong. Mafia and the 5 EA titles were announced 365 days ago Mafia is already out there for months on other platforms. Should I buy it for PlayStation or will it finally drop on stadia? This whole "announce by a week" is just silly, because we as consumers don't know what to expect and when. Especially since this isn't happening on competitor platforms. Don't announce a game, only to not release it within ONE YEAR. I mean come on, they already announced it. Another example: F1 2020 is out on stadia right? Launched same date as other platforms. Months later the game gets added to Pro. Why? Why would a big developer like Codemasters do that? Maybe the game didn't sell good enough, because when you take a look at their website you see you can pre-order the '21 version for other platforms, but not stadia. So that makes me thinking? Why does Google wait with announcing so soon to release? This way people will sooner buy it on other platforms, because we don't know if this one will come to stadia as well. Region, could be  There whole Bluetooth thing is not true, before stadia even launched they told in Reddit AMA's that the controller will support wireless audio. It just never happened. Just to add: since the story about closing down their own studios they haven't announced new features and besides RE I don't believe any other AAA titles were announced. How should I as consumer still believe in Google after so many let downs? Just check this forum, the socials, news outlets and other community sites: the negativity is sky-high and all Google do is ignore it and throw around Indies. Dude, did you see the announcement they made before launch? Comparing themselves with Xbox and PlayStation? Whahaha funny

When Google stays as silent as they are and are ignoring everyone's request about games and features, the competition will definitely walk away. Just take a look at Gamepass: - Free EA Play - All Bethesda Games And I wouldn't be suprised if they work something out with Ubisoft as well in the end.  And yes, I know, with Gamepass they can remove games etc etc, but no one cares! They just want to stream their favorite games and right now, Stadia is starting to look more Indie than the Switch. Xbox is gearing up big time to become the preferred streaming platform and Google is just doing This Week on Stadia with some BS stuff in it.  I received a newsletter from Playstation this week to promote their Playstation Now service. I know everyone says its a bad service, but at least they want to promote it a bit.  I have to be real here: I am not mentioning Stadia anymore, since I just don't see the benefits anymore. Stadia Team is definitely not helping out here. I am not even buying any games anymore because I just don't know if the platform will exist in 2022. And I hate to think so, cause I am a founder since Nov 21 2019 and played almost only Stadia since then. (Stellaris on PS4 unfortunately).  The TWoS of today? - Resident Evil Village and the controller deal (which will probably be claimed by a lot of Stadia-Players) - Old news - Resident Evil 7 on Pro for April - Old news - Some other Indie games on Pro - who cares - Some Discounts.- who cares, you can already see in the app. - No information about the long overdue app redesign - No information about search - No information about working with bigger studios (where are the final two EA games?) - No information about the current succes or downfall of Ubisoft+ and if it will ever come to Europe - No information about Tandem Mode supporting racing wheels - No information about new countries - No information about what else we can ever expect from the platform.  Really, this streaming platform is small and will stay small forever. You know why? To grow they will need money and a big company like Alphabet/Google will only give more budget when targets are met. And to be honest I doubt they have met those targets, which could also explain the closing of SG&E. (Which is also hilarious btw)

Ivan, don't get me wrong, but this "send your request through the app" has no point at all. People are "whining" about a search bar for 12 months now and yet Google, the giant data-collecting search company, does not know how to integrate search in their own app.  If they don't want a search bar because it makes it too easy to find out the big games are missing they should now just say so. We are waiting for so many stuff that just seems like it's never happening.  Extra example, do you know how many times I have to go to the shop, just to figure out if a game has local co-op? I don't understand why there can not be any overhaul at all. The design hasn't changed in 16 months. Back then, the app had, what, 16 games? now they more than 120 game titles and it's just plain hard to find a game. Especially in the app. The app is completely outdated and Google doesn't give anything about it all.

Yes, still bugged. I have an e-mail-thread from Google Stadia Support stating - Jan 29:  We're sorry if this is taking a while. We've already raised this to our team and we're on top of this. We'll be sure to get back to you as soon as we have more information to share. We appreciate your patience on this. - March 9:" We're sorry if this is taking a while — we're still on top of this and we're working with our partner publisher to get this sorted out. We appreciate your patience, hang tight" I heard about that as well, also tried a few but nothing worked. Up until now.  EA support sucks, Google support sucks, really.  Stadia, it's hilarious

Well I do agree with you and yes, they announced to be more quiet (which seems totally fine by me). It's not truly necessary to keep us up to date about everything that's going on, but there is a lot of negativity going online about Stadia. Even the Resident Evil controller deal is not getting any traction outside Google/Stadia-related websites. gaming websites don't mention it all... Easily put, by replying a bit more on certain frequently asked questions, they could tone it down a bit. Since the start there is no real reply about racing wheels. Now we have tandem mode. People are asking all the time "Will it work with steering wheels?" and no one even ever reply.  They closed their studios, there seems to be a lot going on with indies and now they are again giving away controllers. The giveaway is of course a great offer marketing-wise, but why is it for EVERYONE? In all kinds of FB groups (one with like 16k members, everyone is sharing it, but these are all people that are allready on the platform). I think a lot of controllers will go to existing users.. but Google = Google and Google = God Mode so they MUST know what they are doing right?  The radio silence by Google is really a bad decision.
@StadiaTeam this is still not an option? Why is it so difficult to tell us about this?

Wooow Reigns on Pro! That f-ing game is 3€ lol!  Where is Ark? Where is Mafia? Why are the other two EA games unannounced? When will Ubi+ finally get to Europe? Will we ever get R6? Where is a roadmap? Are there any 3rd party exclusives coming? We are almost in month 3 of 2021. It looks like those 100 games are 90% indie again....   Google, don't be Google about it. Normally it's fine to be vague, but now we invest money in YOUR platform. Give us something or should we wait for that class action suit? Come on...
Lol, they didn't gave a **bleep** about British Pounds and now even Euros are removed.  And still nothing about the hailstorm.. euh.. **bleep**storm out there.
Is this the sound of silence?

Hi Grace, I really hope you are right, but looking at the forums, Facebook Groups, Reddits and Tweets: you people really need to step it up. We want way more transparancy in how the future is looking. What is coming when? How many games in which month? Is there at least one company working on one AAA exclusive game? Where are the final two promised EA games? Where are the Mafia games? It's almost like every month there is some negativity out there, being created by Google itself. How is that remotely possible? I don't understand why it's so hard for you guys to create something like a roadmap. I have seen  interns that never photoshopped in their entire life do it in 4 hours.  And one tip and please for the love of all things saint: Gamers are passionate about their games. We invest in a platform, we try to persuade other in buying in on the platform. We trust you, don't abuse it.  When "you" got something to tell like that article everyone is scared about: please, don't say "we keep on supporting and games are coming". That's way to generic. Have you guys never heard of the "give something good when you wanna tell something bad"? How easy would it have been to say someting like "Hey, SG&E is closing down, but we are gonna focus on bringing over games from others. Yea, the closing of the SG&E is a bummer, BUT to show you we mean it: The other two EA games are ... and ... AND to top it off: Our goal is to launch 30 new titles in Q1. Oh and btw: login today and see GAME X just arrived! (Game x being a super AAA game ofc) Then we had something to look for and we would feel like "ok, bummer, but there was also fantastic news". The best news we had was the free weekend for farming simulator in the TWoS the FOLLOWING DAY. You serious? All news outlets had already written Stadia was dead.  Really loving the platform, really, having a blast on it. Don't regret any purchase at all. It's just irritating to see you guys struggle so hard and you guys never really respond and never seem to really wanna connect with us for feedback.

Welcome to the Indie platform with no first party game at all. The platform that got advertised and hyped with tons of features, just to make a completely mislaunch and don't implement those features from the start. All because we love negative press. The place where we announce games like Mafia and five EA titles, just to only present you with 25% of those. (Mafia = three games plus five EA is 8. Two are now published (Star Wars and Madden) is 25%. Because we know you will love the tech we will mainly focus on that. Who needs games anyway? We have an awesome platform! The company that thinks you can easily spread content online, just to never reply on any in-depth question you get. As if the internet is a one way street where it's unnecessary to attend to reputation fires. Why should a community manager manage a community? All you need to do is post PR BS from the company and the sheep will listen! The rocky climbing system that finally got some positive press because of other platforms not running Cyberpunk well. Not that it's necessary to 1000% upscale all your marketing efforts then... The studio that got killed before it even launched a game. Oh yeah, and it also killed all the positive news from Cyberpunk and news outlets are back on the "will Stadia go the Google Graveyard?" -train. Stadia, the cloud-gaming solution that could have been so great, so amazing, so attractive, but fell in to the wrong hands and died a painful and (looking at the blog from yesterday) slow death. Okay back to Night City, thank you all!
