I have two chromecasts in use and its easy. One important thing, for the first setup, do not connect the chromecast to LAN-cable, otherwise its not possible to get it in your home installation. At least I had a hard time to find that out And for daily use, for me its better to choose the game and the display first in the app. Otherwise when you start your controller, it starts the chromecast that was in use last. In general, thats a nice feature but can be annoying when you choose another TV because people are sitting in front of that.
Kind of Tomb Raider for kids. I played it a while and really like it. My 12 yo kid plays it too but is creeped from time to time
I like this perfect release-mixture between indie-game and mainstream every month. The stadia team is choosing wisely so far.
Yesterday I played again and had no problems at all. So this will remain a mystery I think.

Thanks for the quick answer! Does the controller communicate only via WLAN with stadia or is there some bluetooth data exchange with the chromecast, too? Because I bought a second chromecast ultra on sunday and since then I maybe have this problem, but I haven't played few days before to be clear about this.   I just found out in my router that the chromecasts get a IPv6 address but the controller does not. Is it really an IPv4 device only?

My setup: Stadia controller (founder) with chromecast ultra. Since a few days, it seems that the data from the controller are not coming to the game sometimes (in my example Tomb Raider DE). I press forward, then Lara moves on and doesn't stop for some seconds. Or I look around and it feels like carousel. Few moments later, its normal. This happens irregularly every few minutes. I have no graphic problems at all, picture is clear all the time. For me, it seems that the data of the controller disappear somewhere on the way to the stadia server. Unfortunately, I found no way to check the controller upstream if it gets stucked somewhere. I even put the controller in the realtime-group in my router, this has not solved me problem.
Hi, on thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=stadia) are already a few stadia related items. So, if you have access to a 3D-printer, this could save you.
Does it not work because of a slow internet connection? Then ask your provider for more bandwith. Does it not work because of an unsupported region? Then ask stadia-team for this.
What do you think about it? I do not mean dumb ad-breaks like on soap-TV, I am thinking more of in game placements and sponsored games. So the games get cheaper or even for free. Is this interesting... See more...

First Tomb Raider from the 90ths (many of you will not even know it!) in 4k graphics. Will I still be able to get along with midas golden hand?

Is the family-link case finished from stadias point of view already? At the moment, its not acceptable to buy the same games twice for different accounts. I mean,I could use the buddy-pass for my 11 year old daughter to have an own account and control it via the family link app (not tested). But thats not my intention to have a contract for everybody in the house. I want to buy the games ONCE and let other family members play. Of course, not at the same time, a console can be used one at a time only, too. So, multiple accounts on the same stadia screen, with integration family link app. For the games, I really hope that there will be more for kids in the future like mentioned here.

Whats about those games that where purchased with a pro-discount? Can they be played or are those "on hold" too?

Hey indie-developers, come out This is a good platform to develop nice games beside the mainstream. Kine is a very good start, I would like to have more of those easy-peasy games that are not that complex and expensive. More than flappy bird and beach buggy (but why not those?) and less than RD2 and those mega games.
Would prefer if you come to germany
I vote for interesting indie-games that are not so expensive and which are playable with kids, too.

It would be a good thing if the connection status of the chromecast is shown clearly. For me, it happened that the network cable wasn't plugged in any more accidentially, but the chromecast "secretly" used WLAN. Games begun stuttering every 15 seconds. The stadia-status was saying that everything was good. It took me a lot of time to find out that the network cable was not plugged in. So, please find a way to display the kind of connection. And a goooood tipp for all stadians (or how is called a stadia user??) USE ethernet, not WLAN. Its a huge difference.
Kann  man ein Headset anschliessen und Kontakt aufnehmen? Oder kann man mit anderen chatten?
Sind die Leute die ich bei Destiny treffe alles Stadianer? Dachte da mischen sich dann alle Spieler.
