The comments were "unfortunate" coming from a Stadia employee .... but they were very much his comments, to an ongoing discussion about music copyright and recent actions of Twitch. Unfortunately, people jumped on the "Creative at Stadia" bit - and conflated the two - as it fits a popular narrative. Both YT and Google have come out and stated the views don't reflect company policy. Anyone familiar with the Staida /YT business strategy can see that. There was Stadia GDC seminar specifically about how to make stream friendly games. No, it's not an ideal situation. I'm sure Stadia are looking at it - but the more I consider it the more I see it just bringing out existing ill-informed prejudices against Stadia.Normal gamer fan boy toxicity. Next week it will be something else. Just look at what the next few weeks brings to Stadia.... WIthin the space of a month or so (on top of the awesome demos we have), we will have, Watch Dog Legions, Sekiro, Hello Neighbour 2, Assassin Valhalla, Cyberpunk, Jedi Fallen, Chronos, Immortals Fenyx .... plus whatever the Nov Pro titles will be and other games .... and maybe some other "good" stuff. So yesterday's news is today's fish n chip paper (as we say in UK) - the service has certainly not "failed" - it's got stronger and stronger with a growing library, top AAA, big publishers on board, features being rolled out ....
