Great that it will be available on Hitman 1 and 2 as well.... shows that it can be applied to older games

Absolutely. They may not be everyone's cup of tea - but when I talk about Stadia to other "gamers" - first thing they ask is "can I play Fortnite/CallofDuty/Apex) etc ..." these are the staple games of any games platform - so they need to be available on Stadia.  I have no doubt we will see some of these - with 400 games in the pipeline , it's going to be a busy time game wise for Stadia in 2021

A Big welcome to all new Stadia players - welcome to our world... it's exciting, and with 400+ games already lined up for the next 12+ months.... the future is bright. Welcome!
You can't be playing the same game as me... looks and plays awesome. Check your internet set up
this is my thinking. I expect to see roll out quickly

Not sure of the logic on this - would be good to understand. (I get Ubisoft+ on Luna+ in US only - since Luna+ is ONLY available in US).  But why only US on Stadia? Seems counter to everything Stadia has done to date (in terms of rolling out across all Stadia territories).   I hate unsolved questions. or where logic seems to have gone awol. Is there a bit of info I'm missing (commercial/legal restriction, perhaps?) Thoughts?
Looking forward to the hangout - great idea. Let's hope they become a regular thing.
That Sale list is riDONKULOUS! .... so many titles... Good work.

This is such a big move...  It is like gifting everyone a free console and game to test in their own home - no strings attached. Well done Stadia team
Great news ... you guys working overtime!

There is no growth in the gaming market for consoles and PC (the same market segment buys the updated consoles and upgrade PC- but there is little to no expansion for these markets. . These markets stay relatively the same. The casual gamer in global markets where consoles and PC are not the norm is where the growth is, that is why Amazon, Google and Microsoft (Xbox) are targeting that area with cloud gaming.

Each to their own... Right now Stadia is on a par with current top-end Gen (Xbox ONe X /PS4Pro) - and I agree some ports don't seem as optimized as others - so we know it's capable of it. But consider this - NOT everyone coming to Stadia is a hardcore dedicated console/gaming pc player. That is why they have chosen Stadia. It is affordable, easy access, and delivers an amazing experience. If you've never played a game in 4K at 30 fps - then that looks and feels amazing. If you are used to running 4K 120fps on your ultra gaming rig - perhaps less so. The "next billion gamers" are not gamers now because the entry to gaming has been too high for them - until Stadia. So yes, I'm sure as games are developed in parallel for Stadia going forward we will see more and more developers pushing the platform - but for the casual gamer... It looks awesome.
I was lucky enough to snag one of those Hoodies that light up at the Stadia pop up event in London this time last year. Now if they started selling them.......
Absolutely, it looks and plays so sweet on Stadia. It's **bleep** tough... but looks great

Great stuff .... some good titles in there. Another 6 as well. Library building nicely ...... Wow! even Classic-Rando happy with it.... (checks pulse)

It's is great to see anecdotal evidence of previous Stadia "cynics" trying the demos - and then being blown away at how well it works. I've seen a number of commentators come out and openly say "they were wrong" about Stadia - now they've tried the Stadia thanks to the demos. Demos are such a great idea - great for publishers - as you get to 1. Click to Play (demo) Instantly 2. Click to Buy Game - if you like demo 3. Potentially think about giving the Pro a trial to test out other games. Great for publishers, great for consumers, great for Stadia.  I can see more and more publishers jumping on board with this. That "instant" nature of Stadia gives it real appeal. The demos were a great "demo" of the value of "demos"   How about regular demo a month for all - with the Pro titles!?
That's a great irony ... there are SO many games the current UI isn't fit for purpose, so defo needs a redesign.... a good problem to have...
