Hoping CDPR can sort out these issues soon. Had a few major glitches which required rebooting the game, and there's lots of aesthetic issues such as floating objects, hilarious ragdoll bugs, my character bouncing around when mantling, and at one point my guns froze in the middle of a gunfight, I couldn't look down the sights, reload, use health packs, nothing, so had to reboot for that. And strangely on the bottom right where it says press Y to equip weapon, it says it twice instead of just once. Performance wise on stadia I think its great. Framerate is smooth, if you turn off a few of the graphic options like chromatic and DOF it improves the blurriness a lot. So I'm hopeful CDPR can come back from this fast with updates as the issues are all on their end, not on the Stadia hosting end. Really enjoying the game so far regardless of all the issues!

From what I've seen, most well known titles will still be multiplatform. Perhaps some future work may go exclusive but I think they'll be shooting themselves in the foot if they block all those extra sales, considering having every game behind gamepass means hardly any sales at all. Overall it could be a good thing. Bethesda are renowned for releasing bug-ridden glitchy games. Perhaps having MS kicking them up the butt might lead to better quality games on release, too. Competition is good

Agreed, pre-ordering is quite a big part of retail gaming both digital and physical. Many people go into it for certain "Pre-order Bonuses". Having these also on Stadia would be great. Yes, the actual process of buying games on Stadia completely negates the need for a pre-order, buy it - instantly play it, but the special bonuses can often be quite a big draw for people.

The catalogue is growing, the Stadia team is hitting a lot of sweet spots with features, sales, and announcements... Giving away 2 months of Pro for free was a pretty big deal, I didn't see Microsoft or Sony do that. I've been a Pro subscriber since day one, and will continue to be. Very happy with it so far, even though I spend most of my time on PS4. In fact I have two PS4 Pros, two Xbox Ones (one S one X), a gaming Laptop, a gaming desktop pc, 3DS, Vita.... and Stadia still has a very useful place in my gaming life.

@Dunnkare This isn't an issue that would affect Stadia exclusively. If Sony, Microsoft, Steam etc ceased to exist then access to digital games on those platforms would potentially be lost too. If something like Amazon Video ended, anything you bought on that could be gone too. Anything you take on digital rights for may not necessarily be future proof. This is the world we live in, the digital age, and the inherent problems that will bring will affect most things in the same way and it is a risk we are all going to have to take on to be part of it. I totally understand everyone's frustrations though, I'm not immune to it, I've just been into this gaming malarkey for a very long time and have had to learn patience

Years and years I've been trying to dodge buying games that might be going free on PSN, XBL etc, and now Stadia. It happens, and I've been stung by it many times before. This is not a new thing, and pretty much matches the industry standard, so those getting narked at Stadia for this should bear that in mind - in fact when they started offering refunds for Tomb Raider for that exact same thing I thought that was a really good gesture, even though I knew it was only a one off. I myself already own both Gylt and Metro: Exodus, so I have been stung by it. Yet at the same time I know that if my pro subscription expires then I will still have access to those games permanently, so that's the added bonus of having brought them. So in that regard i can happily live with it and am not in any way soured by it

I'm *pretty sure* I bought the biggest tier version of the game there was at the time, i did look carefully and I always do, the post wasnt about my own personal annoyances but simple suggestion of what would be a better feature for the store. I have done the same with other games too, looked to buy the big packages outright especially if they come with season passes etc. What I'm saying is that it often happens that other, fuller "packages" of games are often released after people have bought a particular one, and having the option to upgrade would be nice.

I believe we need a way to "upgrade" an edition of a game we have already bought. For example I own the gold edition of Ghost Recon, and have noticed an ultimate edition now on there. I didnt see this before, so not sure if I'm just blind of if it has been recently added, but it would be nice if we had a way to purchase an "upgrade" for the games, for the correct proportional cost. I have seen these offers available on PSN, XBL and others, so I think Stadia would benefit. I dont fancy spending £99.99 to buy an ultimate edition while already having spent about £70 on the gold (cant actually remember exactly how much it was!).
Would be nice, but I dont hold out much hope for it to happen. I would offer CDPR at least 97 chicken nuggets and 27 finger fulls of BBQ flavour Hula-Hoops for such a thing.

I have Darksiders but have only played local co-op so far with my lad. Also have Ghost Recon but as yet only played that single-player. I also have RDR2, Rage 2, destiny 2, tomb raider (all 3), Metro Exodus, Borderlands 3, Samurai Shodown, Grid, FFXV, and a few others I've lost track of lol.

Has anyone considered starting up a stadia founders clan for multiplayer games? If not, I thought it might be a nice idea. Not all future members have to be founders as such, but it could be nice for members to know their peers and clan leaders have been there since the start, and would be good for the founders themselves to have that footprint. Something simple like Stadia Founders Clan (can be discussed!) and it would be even better if we could have the official backing of Google themselves for this, perhaps offering us up a special logo, sponsorship, special clan area here on the site, reddit, and discord server or something, or whatever else anyone can think of. If I'm late to the party and something has already been discussed then apologies, but if not I'd like to hear some thoughts!

I'm sure I've seen somewhere a reference to contacting Google if you want information about changing your name. Seem to recall it being in the profile somewhere but as of right now I cant remember exactly where, might be worth looking into, not had any info on this though so I dont know how much or how little they will be able to help EDIT: In fact cancel that. Open the Stadia app, click your profile icon. Under user name, theres a link to contact Google if you want to change your name.

On, say, PSN, if your chosen name is taken, theres nothing you can do about it. So you may decide to add a number at the end. Player1. Player23. Player2020 etc. This is no different, it just chooses the number for you. I believe some games may be able to code the display of the username as to remove whatever appears after the #. The bonus for founders is that their username can not be replicated. I know that there will never be another CookieMcCrumble on Stadia, with or without any numbers at the end, and this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy lol
Not dead for me at all, I use mine pretty much daily. Yes, it is progressing slower than would be ideal, and communication in somewhat lacking, but I still feel optimistic about the future.
