We know Google is collecting data because we know they working on "negative latency" basically the want to build tech that will predict what you'll do accurately enough that it reacts before you do because of the latency inherent in the platform.
I don't think anyone would be against patch notes.  To build off this I would love for there to be a way to see if a game you own got updated recently (or don't own as well I guess).

Of course they're making a profit off joy cons but I don't think it's as big of one as you imagine.  Other than the joystick their quality standards are pretty high and they don't use the run of the mill rumble motors we've had for the last 20 years either.  Not to mention NFC, infrared and stuff that other consoles don't think or care about but it allows Nintendo to do more of their interesting gimmicks which somehow works for them.
I think what they're trying to say is if Google made announcements or had sticked posts about these issues hopefully people wouldn't make threads about them every hour.

In theory everything is possible. I imagine we get Ray tracing eventually now that amd says they have it coming with their next round of GPUs. But it's a lot about cost so imagine at best it's 2 years away. Stadia has to scale and for its price point we are never going to match high end gaming PCs graphically.
@Nilas in the stadia app hit your avatar in the top right. Purchases > the game you want to return > request refund.

@SecretCodeIt's kind of like xbox gamepass but for ubisoft games.  You basically get access to all their games (including DLC) for a monthly sub.  If you like ubisoft games it can easily fill your gaming library needs due to the variety but I imagine we aren't going to get a lot of the older titles(especially strategy kind of ones) on Stadia. https://store.ubi.com/us/uplayplus/?lang=en_US I imagine the sub will cover both PC and stadia so it may still be worth it.

Multiplayer and we'll maybe multiple people want to play stadia at the same time with a controller?  I mean it all comes down to use case. It's also needed to play through the chromecast at this time.  Not sure if there are plans to change this but it's needed to do so.
It's been announced for a long time now.
I mean define cheap and do you want a mic included?

Right now at least mods and the like are not possible with stadia.  There are ways of getting game data(like saves) but no way of getting them back up to Stadia. I don't think we have had official word on if Stadia's set up will support modding in the future or not.  But I would assume not until we're told differently.

I feel like if we were going to get something we already would have.  But at the same time they are still trying to figure things out for the founders who orders got cancelled.  So maybe they are waiting for all of them to get settled before doing it. So if not next week or the week after that I would say we get nothing.
It would be a nice title to see and supposedly EA is now a Stadia supporting publisher so as long as Stadia grows I would say it's possible.

It's already been announced and you use your Uplay account on stadia anyway so there should be no issues with saves.

@zuesmos I'm not surprised at all that there are work arounds between their limitations.  I mean it wouldn't be great probably but I could have just casted my phone to my tv if I really wanted. My main goal was to try and wake up the strong Stadia white knights that the rest of the internet isn't just complaining about stadia for the sake of it.  From a value of point of view xcloud + gamepass will probably be the best in the industry.
Wait for SE to fix it as it seems google won't has they blame SE.

Well I had some time to try XCloud and well I'm sorry to say it but Stadia will need a Gamepass answer imo.  XCloud is very playable as it is right now.  It's limited to the phone for the moment but we know tv and PC are part of the long term plans. I imagine many will come out and say but it requires an xbox.  And all I would answer with that is that that can change.  Microsoft easily has the time and money to make their own chrome cast like device if they so choose.  And it's not like the stadia controller is extremely cheap either. And no the pro-games aren't enough as xbox gold already does something similar.  After actually trying it Stadia will lose the casual war if they don't have an answer of some sort by xcloud launch I feel.
