Interesting assumption, only I never mentioned physical games, merely hardware. I do know what Stadia is and believe in its potential.  My suggestion is something that serves the potential to add to its user base. Google needs a strong position as the competition is coming. Amazon is launching their service and this would allow Google to reach an estimated 100,000,000 individuals unable to properly utilize a streaming, gaming platform, than Amazon.  Thank you for your perspective, as dismissive and combative as it may be.

Better compression algorithms are beneficial, I agree there. My thoughts are on those who don’t even get 4g. The more users Stadia has, the stronger it will be. There is added appeal to possessing the game and knowing that it’s there, on your device. The cloud should be the focus but it isn’ta bad thing to diversify.  Thank you for your input on such.

You are right, network will be there eventually. Based on the current rate of expansion, it will take another 15-20 years for the infrastructure to allow for a significant portion of Americans to have anything higher than a low level DSL or satellite.   My thoughts are geared toward the immediate. With PS5 and Series X on the horizon, some of the advantages of Stadia will be less so. I enjoy this platform and desire it to exist for years to come. Broadening the user base will assist in this. Thank you for your input though, it’s appreciated.
They may not but who knows. Anything that strengthens the brand is good for everyone.

Internationally speaking, there are houses untapped markets due to underdevelopment. Here in America, 40% of households live where only DSL or satellite are an option. That’s 132,602,246.4 people, give it take. It would strengthen, not hurt the platform as a whole. I’m glad another sees it.

I was thinking more along the lines when you have no internet access, or you live somewhere where the only option is satellite, which has a hard cap on usage. I live in Dallas so it’s not an issue. I just believe heavily in the platform and want others less fortunate than I to see it as a gaming contender.

I have a suggestion. A good portion of the country live in areas where the internet of not the best. While keeping with the cloud platform, if Stadia were to come in optional physical, similar to the dev kits, said market could then be tapped.  I love playing on the cloud bud if I were to take a trip, I would definitely prefer I be able to take my games with me.

@Javriel The refund is a courtesy as technically, per the terms and conditions of such, an inability to save or a corrupt save file are not defects. Regarding your approach, Google makes their money on the memberships present. The refund primarily affects the publisher. I too am disappointed; however, we entered into this knowing that it was early access to a new tech. Bugs were bound the happen. Even with this inconvenience, the platform has exceeded expectations.
@Solaras... regrettably there isn't a way to access the save file to remove it. Tried as well before I figured out such.
I'll try this when I get home... Hopefully. It would be nice to have a temporary fix until they remedy it.

Had to have the agent ask around but I got an answer. They are aware and working on it. Shawn said the following:   "This issue is currently being investigated by both parties and there is no update as of yet. I'm not sure why they pushed you back to us as they should be aware of the problem."   In short, they know there's is an issue and are trying to resolve it. If I had to guess I would say that the way the game is formatted on the server, as it is essentially a computer, is switching the storage device to read only. Final Fantasy XV has had this issue at one point or another on every platform.
