Guys, with all respect, and I understand in most cases this is a welcome privilege to have freebies (I myself am glad to play them), we shouldn't count the claimed games anything in the 130$ package. It's not like we had a coupon to spend money in the store. Still, we got a controler (which is worth like 60€ I guess) and a CCU (worth 70€), and we got 3 months of a service which is missing basic features, most of them that should be included in the 10€ subscription. I don't feel robbed but that's definitely not the deal of the year. I would feel better if I had 3 extra free month, starting from whenever the service receives 4K on chrome and be playable on my phone.

@Xevioso I want it to succeed and that's why you'll find me quite angry in many post about the communication, absence of gaming announcements and new releases, and missing roadmap. I am very worried because a bad launch and careless follow up means the platform will struggle to be considered serious by developers, which means less games available, less players, and very slow growth. When the PS5 and Xbox4 are waiting in the corner, if Stadia wants to be a major actor in the industry, they better come with the big guns in the very few coming weeks. Otherwise, Stadia will still exist, but it will be under the radar for the next 5 years at least, until the ps5 and xbox gets old. By then they'll have perfected their own cloud so even Stadia might be behind if Google didn't even care. I'll lose faith if they do nothing by mid february. People will just preorder a hardware console. Once they do they're not turning back for at least 2 years. And Google will be way behind in 2 years if it continues this way. There is no place for a 4th actor in this industry, there never was. I am convinced that if Stadia wants a long term future, they have to convince now, not next year.

I'm not done yet but I understand completely. I give it until mid february to check if they provide a Stadia connect to announce more games and bring the missing features. In the meantime I should have completed the games i claimed and should have no reason to remain a pro member if Google remains silent.

@th3d0wnfa11 Yeah I thought about something similar some weeks ago. I can imagine a Youtube premium + stadia package later. Imagine how it would drain casual players to the platform. It could be massive. Amazon is doing this with Prime video being included in the prime subscription (which i had even before video came out, because it's worth it for transport fees and other discounts. For Google, youtube is the key. I wish youtube gaming would allow to buy Stadia games directly, play with streamers. Also you could play the Youtube music when you are playing your stadia games. You could also have a youtube window playing your watchlist when you are playing a game, you could have a skype-style interface through youtube to communicate in the Stadia community like a discord with webcam, ..There are no limits to all you can do ! Google has so much power in their hands actually.

Hell no. Delays are ok. There are delays quite often. It's ok if we have a vision for what's coming anyways. Currently there is nothing announced, so all the appeal is fading out.   The true issue is that the community managers probably don't know anything. As I've read from them on social medias, it has become obvious to me that the heads sealing deals are keeping their secrets, even for them. So they're crossing fingers so a Google Connect is finally announced and we can chill. It's a shame Google heads are ruining the service this way. I'm getting furious.

@Umcharliex your post depresses me. It's like you consider Stadia's library will not grow. You consider Stadia already dead. A more optimistic point of view is that some unannounced games will be released and will be claimable. Some games currently available will never be Pro. And some may never have a discount either.

I couldn't agree more. We are trying to figure out if Stadia can sustain our gaming appetite and if we should invest into it any further, or if we should rather go back to our hardwares which are getting games every weeks and sales every weeks. As I already said in other numerous topics, Google is going the very wrong way if they hold their announces. At least they need to tell WHEN exactly is the next Stadia Connect so we can wait until then for our news. However if we have no announcements, no Stadia connect schedules, and no roadmap, we will all leave this boat in the coming weeks, you can be sure of this.

No way. Didn't we lose enough time on this ? Here's the FAQ saying exactly what happens if you return a FE, which is valid for any other edition except they don't have a buddy pass : https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9338946?hl=en   - you'll lose access to the games you claimed as a Pro subscriber   - your Founder's Stadia Name will revert to a standard Stadia Name   - your Founder's Badge will be removed   - If the Buddy Pass included with your Founder's Edition has not been redeemed at the time of your return, the Buddy Pass and 3-month Stadia Pro subscription will be voided   - If the Buddy Pass has been redeemed at the time of your return, the included three-month Stadia Pro subscription will be cancelled and the redeemer will lose their Stadia Pro benefits.   In no way, I mean NO WAY, you can lose access to bought games. If that was the case, the whole thing couldn't be out in Europe to say the least, this is against consumers rights in here. And that's not something any company can joke with. This thread went way too far.

You know about stadia base right ? People with stadia base will buy and play games on stadia without the stadia package, without the chromecast or controler (although they can buy those separately if they want). So even if Google refunds your FE or PE, Google will not refund additional items,, as they remain available. So if you already bought games, you can still play them. There was actually somebody on reddit in this situation.
