I tried it twice and it still doesn't work. I'm going to keep trying today but am not optimistic...

I connected my Pixel 2 XL and Stadia controller using a 1 foot cable and the original pixel cable. My phone is not recognizing it as a controller. It just charges it or vice versa. Any one else having... See more...
I connected my Pixel 2 XL and Stadia controller using a 1 foot cable and the original pixel cable. My phone is not recognizing it as a controller. It just charges it or vice versa. Any one else having this issue? Or will wireless phone play be out soon?
