I just got a stadia controller, I noticed a huge problem. There is about a 2-5 degree deadspace in the thumbsticks. ( from 0 to 5 degrees, there is no input response.) this makes precise aiming in fps really difficult. I really hope there is a solution to this. is there any custom mapping software? if not I will need to return the controller as it makes many games unplayable.
Hi @randomname1
There isn't an official way to map the controller, however if the issue persists in the controller after a reset, I recommend you to reach stadia support.

Thumbsticks always have a small dead zone in order to prevent stick drift.
5° sound pretty much and should be improved. But as long as it is the same dead zone for every stick, it should not be a big concern.
