Hi all! Is it possible to use Stadia controller to play android games on my smartphone?
As far as I know you can only use the Stadia controller to play games on your phone that you have in your Stadia app.
yes, this definitely works. I managed to get it working with the original cable and a female usb-a to male usb-c adapter (I used a usb 3 one). Just plug in the Stadia controler, a popup will appear asking if you want to open stadia app, press no. You'll see that you can control your mobile with the controller but also play the games that support it. I played GTA Vice City and it was perfect, but another game called Gris didn't work, so maybe it's the game's fault.

If you don't mind spending abit of money the Razer Kishi is well worth the investment. Works with Stadia aswell as a good amount of android games.
Hi, you can play android games on your phone if you connect the stadia controller via usb c to usb c cable or use your charging cable with an usb c adapter.
I have not had any success playing non stadia games on my phone with the stadia controller. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried connecting with a cable and still got nothing.
Same here, i just bought an OTG cable and can't get it to work with Android.. Only stadia games have worked.. Which is a shame.. Google owns both the play store and stadia, why should it be a problem?
