I've been waiting for this one since pretty much launch day.

USB-C headset support on Chromecast and web
Plug your USB-C headset into a Stadia controller when playing on Chromecast or on Web.
You'll likely need to force an update by resetting your controller for this new feature to become active, as I did. Then set it up in the Stadia App again to reconnect it to WiFi like you did when it was new.
The messaging here implies this won't work when using the controller wirelessly on mobile, for some reason. I haven't tried that myself yet.
Agreed. Gonna try this over the weekend. Maybe I can actually be a functioning fireteam member in Destiny 2 now (never did voice chat or had a headset, only USB-C headphones).
Is this some sort of phased roll-out? I'm not getting any connectivity with my usb-c headset (Asus ROG Delta) and no updates run when I force reset the controller.
It's a wired usb-c headset. No adapter. I feel like maybe I'm just not getting the new firmware for some reason?
I have a rog delta type USB-C headphones, and I connected to the controller it did not work, restart the controller it did not work either
