So I connect my controller with the input code as intended and it proceeds to connect but nothing happens on my screen. No "Controller connected" appears and no inputs proceed to work. It then disconnects and I have to turn on my controller again.
@Diamondaire I have/had exactly the same issue. After a lot of looking, I found that it seemed to be the chromecast that was ‘disappearing’ from the network after starting Stadia which was causing the controller to go from solid white to flashing orange status - for me it only happened when starting stadia, once connected properly it stayed connected. I factory reset the chromecast and this has improved it, although not entirely solved my issue. I find that someone often still have to reconnect my controller once when first starting Stadia.
It could be worth trying and seeing if this helps your issue or not...
@Diamondaire Maybe see if resetting the controller might help? I'd first try a hardware reset, and then do a factory reset if that doesn't help:
Doesn't seem to help sadly. I'll keep trying to see if it eventually does work.
