So, I received my controller earlier today, and while trying to connect the controller to my Wifi, I hit a wall. Whenever I try to add my controller via the Stadia app on my Nexus 6, it goes like this:
* Controller is found by the phone
* During the "Starting setup" phase, I get an error: "Could not connect to controller"
* If I try again, the controller is still in the list of controllers.
I tried following the "help" guide, which confirmed that I wasn't doing anything wrong. Also tried:
* factory resetting the controller
* factory resetting my chromecast
* Restarting my phone
* Restarting the controller
* Resetting my router
Nothing worked. I'm not exactly sure about what to do at this point. Anyone having the same issue?
@Illusion Turn the controller off and then open up the Stadia app. Tap on the controller icon and let it search for the controller. While it is doing this, hold down the main Stadia button and Y on the controller at same time and once you see the flashing orange light, let go. It should then get picked up by the app and will take you through the connecting process.
Hope this helps!
