Good Day

Looking for some assistance with a faulty Stadia controller. From day one there as been issues with the R2 button. The button feels very stiff and does not return properly. When playing games such as F1 it is not a good experience. 

Spoke to google stadia who said they would replace. Provided serial number of the controller, box and chromecast. They said they would provide a link to the google store where I could arranege a new one.

This was well over a week ago and I have sent a few emails since with no reply.

I know Stadia will probably be canned soon but google still should warrant repairs and this as to be the worst customer support I can imagine.

Is there a phone number to contact, if I go on live chat it just says that the case is awaiting a update.

@jas20001978 When you start a support process, you'll be given the options to chat / speak to a representative. Have you tried it before?

I just tried it myself, and currently the direct communication available right now is through chat, but this might change from time to time (also depends on region), whether the speak to a representative option is available. Can you try and see what's available on your end? Just follow the steps and you'll be given the options

The system automatically detects that there is a ongoing support for the controller and to await further instructions. No chat option becomes available. Looks like I will have to start a new case to get to chat to someone.

They are pretty slow there returning email so chat on a new case might be the easy option.

Strange though as the last thing they said was they would send a link for a new controller and that was over a week ago. I emailed on Friday asking when I would get the link and there as been no response.

All good, links been sent.

Decided after all to keep my current controller and buy a new one just because of the RMA process. 

Stadia is working good for me. We have 1gig Internet connection with ethernet in every rm.

Hope google push on with expanding Stadia the idea is great. Just be nice if they could get some more variety on the game front and a several more AAA titles.
