Hi,
i do a reset yesterday on my Chromecast Ultra and now i can‘t connect the Controller with the CCU!
nobody can play who buy stadia actually or do a reset or change his Wifi system or somthing like That.
I wrote with the German chat. The controller resets and the chromecast resets the router as well, it didn't help, just info. The chromcast set up via LAN or WLAN but the controller cannot connect to the Chromecast. I can start a game via the Stadia app, which is then started via Chromecast, then you are asked to connect the controller and the code appears but it also fails with the same behavior.
Hi @Airsun88
Sorry to hear about all the difficulties you're having with the controller. Maybe doing a factory reset on the controller will do the trick?
When you factory reset your Stadia Controller, all Wi-Fi login information is removed from it.
and Capture buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds.
Note: After you perform a factory reset, you'll need to set up a Wi-Fi connection again in the Stadia app to play wirelessly with your controller.
As I wrote about you in the post, I went through everything together with the chat. Reseting all the hardware.
I can play and connect the Stadia Controller without issues over the Safari Browser with my iPhone but as with everyone at the moment it doesn't work with CCU that are new or have been reset.
Same issue as the OP here too. Tried resetting controller/CCU/wifi router/iPhone to no avail.
I was resetting the controller via holding down the Y button when powering the controller on with the Stadia button... I did not try the Google Assistant + Capture buttons reset method... is that working for anyone who is experiencing the problem?
Same issue as op here, lots of others at reddit with same issue
I tried to start the game with an android mobile phone and selected the CCU as the output method, at the same time I connected the controller to the code that was displayed on the mobile version. The controller was connected. I turned the controller off and started it again and this time entered the code of the CCU and it worked.
In the Stadia app, however, my controller is neither found nor indicated that the CCU is connected to the account, but I can still play.
The support had also replied to me that the error is known and that it is being remedied in the process.
Its a joke, the whole thing is flawed, nobody knows what they are doing.
just got my system and the controller is broken, blinking orange, wifi is set, absolue joke, i want a refund. .*(will add, be trying for two weeks)
