I tried to purchase the controller with the link that was emailed to me but when I pressed the purchase button the transaction did not go through. After trying to complete the purchase, the above error was given.
I also tried to enter the code manually but the discount cannot not be applied due to the same message.

Hi, I am not sure what the issue might be, make sure you are logged in with the same google account the coupon was sent to.
Also, you should be able to redeem after the last day of receiving coupons of the promotions, it will open the application window, so wait until that date.
