@Pwn0gr4phy1990 : No issues to report with either of our two controllers, a founders edition blue and a white controller. The kids and myself have been giving Stadia a good running in since Christmas and no issues yet with either controller.
Not sure what I can recommend beyond your current approach, unless it is a wide scale problem that lots of users are encountering I think a recall is a bit excessive IMHO.
It's a pretty wide issue, just read a little. New customers are dealing with it like me. They're trying to compete with consoles but they're whole console is a controller. All efforts in hardware should be put into the controller and the chrome of course. This controller should be one of the best, not on the worse end. And I say this because this controller is rendering my game unplayed able. Which I may have to switch back to console.
I've got the same problem with the R2 button and I can see that is a widespread problem with a lot of Stadia users. But is there any solucion by Google or will they left us like that? Is there someone who got a solucion?
Just found the same problem with my second (black) controller R2 button. My founders edition is still fine. Is there a link to use for reporting to try and sort a replacement for the faulty one?
Just organising a replacement for my founders edition. Played about 20 hours of Ghost Recon, split between founders edition and another controller that I rotate when battery is dead. Left trigger has gone crunchy. So far no sticking and it still functions but fear it could go at any time.
The amount of wear and tear these should be able to take over their lifetime means they should not wear out in several months.
Same problems on my controller. Its poor quality. Nothing else. Google U nerd to fix This. Buttens and analog feel like they Are going 2 die soon. Kontroller is skweeke and just feels cheep. Sorry google. Thats the truth.
Same issues but with L1 sticking. Terrible replacement process. Had to send a video Of the problem, followed by having to fill out a large email with lots of questions not even in form format. Then had to supply serial number for the controller and chrome cast And box. which were tiny and hard to read, then I had to take a picture of the device and write my case number on paper being careful to include it in the same photo as the devices. Best of all they take a holding charge until they get the old one back. Annoyingly they also have to swap the chrome Ast which is totally fine.
I own 3 stadia controllers and 2 of them have issues. The first controller is having charging issues it just charges when it wants and the second controller is having an issue with the left stick, the third controller has no issues yet.
I primarily play Destiny 2 and a few people in my clan have had issues as well. I had to get my founder's edition replaced because of connection issues and then after it was reset it wouldn't show up on my wifi to be paired. One of the guys I play with has gone through so many controllers because of the R2 & L2 issue. He's trying to get one with a later manufacture date. It's pretty sad. I love the look and feel of the stadia controller but the QC issues are killin' me.
I've had two controllers for about 2 weeks, one unused, but the white one has just become unusable, the R1 button only works intermittently, has anyone else had this problem?
I have the same problem, I have contacted to Stadia's team, to replace my controller, but as I see its a couple problem, So We just need to wait to Google to see what to do.
