Problems connecting Stadia-controller to tablet (within mesh-network and Adguard)

Jump to Best Response

When I try to connect the Stadia controller to my tablet from Lenovo, it won't work... I think it has to do with my Mesh-network with combined 2.4 and 5ghz. How does stadia cope with that? The controller refuses the link code or does eventually connect but does not function. I found out when Adguard is enabled it won't work as well, but I temporarily shut that down.

You need to be sure that both controller and tablet are connected with the same network, in this case you may have two network disguised as one, what I did to fix was in my case to split the two networks by giving a different name to the 2.4

MyNetwork (5ghz)
MyNetwork 2.4 (2.4ghz)

Then I made sure that both were able to connect to the same (I have an old laptop connecting only to 2.4 so I used the latter)
