PC and Chrome wont Register Stadia Controller

Set up;
Lenovo laptop 2019/2020 version, windows 10 (at office with a Dell USB 3 Dock)
Home and office network (both places worked).
Stadia controller, stadia cord.
Chrome Version 81.0.4044.92 (Officiell version) (64 bitar) updated 2020-04-08

Playability
- I've been able to play stadia via Chrome on my PC, with the USB coard on my PC.
- I can play on my CCU on my TV at home.

My problem to day;
When i tried to connect my Stadia controller to the PC, the Stadia button lights bright Orange and then dimms out to a lesser bright orange light, when i then start Chrome and start Division 2 or Stacks on Stacks, Chrome dont register my controller and the only input i can use is KB and Mouse.

What i have tried.
- Change ports.
- FR the stadia controller.
- changed cords, dirft USB C cords, even a Usb C to USB C.
- restart PC with controller connectet.
- Tried on my Boss computer.
- Tried with and without the USB dock.

Yes i have the controller turned off when i connect it to the PC.
Yes i have the controller connected before launching Chrome.
Yes i have tried it the other way around.

Nothing works, some times i get error code on the PC when i connect the Stadia controller.

Same problem on my Samsung S8, with usb c to usb c coard.

Any ideas?

It might also be that your controller is faulty. As you have tried a lot already, I would recommend to contact Stadia support for more information as they might have specific troubleshooting steps for you that you could try.

Here are some more TS steps for Chrome that you could also try:

  • Disable the "hardware acceleration" in Chrome. Here you find steps how to do this.
  • Check that you have the most recent Chrome version and Windows version.
  • Check that your Chrome Browser is not blocked by any Firewall/Antivirus-software.
  • Delete the cache & cookies of Chrome.
  • Try it with the incognito-mode of Chrome.
  • Disable all extensions in the browser.
  • Check your PC if there is any Malware/Virus installed that might cause issues in your browser. Try to just run an antivirus-programm to isolate this.
  • Check if you have experimental Features (Chrome flags) activated:
  1. Go to chrome://flags.
  2. Search a specific theme to your problem with the search bar and check if you can disable this feature, e.g. "enables pointer lock options" or "hardware accelerated video decode".
  3. If you can't find those, click on "reset to standard" in the top right corner to enable the standard-settings of the browser.
  • Deinstall Chrome and install it again to have a clean version.
