Hi,
I am using stadia via chromecast and a stadia controller. When I plug wired headphones into the controller, stadia acknowledges the new audio input and stops playing from the TV, but no sound comes from the headphones.
My chromecast and controller are both connected to the same local WiFi network, so I believe this is not a LAN issue which causes this same problem for folks who connection their chromecast via ethernet.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks again.
I managed to get this working but I have no idea why - I just changed the HDMI input in my TV that the chromecast was plugged in to.
Maybe this just worked because I restarted stadia again (I had already tried that). I never did factory reset the controller.
Hello @DoorsNCorners,
What kind of headset are you using? Do you have some earphones that cams with a mobile phone to check of these work?
@RXShorty Good question - this is a set of wired 3.5mm headphones I just got a few weeks ago. I’ve used them with my PS4 and two computers and they’ve worked well, so I suspect they’re not the issue.
They’re made by JBL. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P5DQH2P/
Hi @DoorsNCorners,
These look they should work.
Did you try a Stadia controller reset?
Thanks again.
