No sound in headphone/mic

Just got my controller last night and tried to link up with a friend for coop play. As soon as I plugged in the headphones the sound cut. The was nothing from the headphones or tv. My CC is connected wirelessly as I saw in other posts some thought the issue was with wired ethernet connections. I tired multiple headphones as well to no avail. Any suggestions?

The only obvious thing I'd make sure of is that you're actually plugging the headphones in *all the way* until it clicks, the port is a bit stiff.

Ha! Well it wouldn't be the first time the simplest fix turns out to be the solution. I will try this tonight and update

So pushed for the click and still no sound. Stadia recognizes a microphone is plugged in via on screen prompts but none of the sound settings alleviate this issue. Did I get a lemon? Does anyone from the stadia team provide support on this forum?

For now, it's more of a user support forum.

If you've tried multiple headsets/headphones and the problem persists across each of them then it sounds to me like it's worth contacting Stadia support directly about it.

Use the "Contact Us" at the top right to get started and good luck.
