I would love to see the stadia controller support USB dongles.
I understand Bluetooth audio will have sync issues, but if utilizing the aptX Low Latency codec (https://www.aptx.com/aptx-low-latency) it should be much better experience with <40ms latency.
I have a Creative BT-W3 usb c dongle that i would love to use in my stadia controller that is paired to an aptX Low Latency device, such as one of these devices.
Hey
Great Idea

Have you tried it? If your dongle is recognized as a standard audio device when used with a PC (appears to the PC the same way as any wired usb headset might) it may very well already just work.
You may have to force a controller update to take place by putting it back into setup mode and reconnecting it to wifi.
I have tried and does not work, it does not recognize it and audio stays in TV.
Updooted. I'd really like this possibility myself. I set out the question on Twitter a while back, here's the link https://twitter.com/sjvanterpool/status/1343608168589377536?s=19 - I'd give it a shot?
Support the idea
Currently dont have 5.1 audio with stadia nor the possibility to use my BT-W3 for bluetooth headphone support.
Would very much like that so I can use my NC headphones to cancel out my GF during gaming time ![]()
