First, for a casual gamer like myself this service has been fantastic. I'm a huge fan-thanks.
I am however having issues with failures happening to the controllers I purchased back in November 2019. Both of these controllers have 'X' buttons that periodically stick in the 'on' position. Bought myself a 3rd controller recently–that one's doing alright–but I'm now wondering if I'm heading for that sticky situation again.
Is this a known issue? Our household PS4 controllers seem to be outlasting these Stadia controllers and the teenagers use those pretty relentlessly. Know that first gen hardware can have some unanticipated breakdowns, is that what I'm dealing with here? Is 4-5 months the expected lifespan of a Stadia controller? Interested to hear if anyone else his having this sort of trouble. Thanks in advance.
Well, I had problems in the controller of the premiere edition, the left stick became hard and makes a horrible screech, as to be able to return it I had to demonstrate through a video that the controller was not functional they would never accept it because the stick works and also had I also have to send the CCU so I decided to buy a Wasabi controller after reading many users commenting on the good operation ... guess what: the same thing happens in the right stick. If the first controller made me hate Stadia, the second one just finished nailing the coffin nails.
Since then I hate Stadia even though I keep PRO and buy games, until I decide to buy 3090 or PS5 PRO
yeah my 3rd controler is a Wasabi. Hoping it last a little bit longer. So are you saying they wouldn't replace your controller without the CCU? That's nuts. I understand the disappointment.
Not the Premiere one because it was a pack and you have to send it complete, the Wasabi yes, but I don't understand the point if it eventually fails
