During a Formula 1 game session, the R2 key stops working when pressed and I have to press it again. The same problem happened to me with other button as well.
Hey @giuseppe_dan88,
sorry to hear your buttons on the controller stop working. My BF and me had a similar problem in another game and for him it worked to do a factory reset of the controller. Nevertheless I would suggest to try the TS steps step by step:
If all these steps still didn't help, I would suggest to contact the Stadia support for further advice.
I have solved using a functional charger and USB-C cable, plug your Stadia Controller into a power source to charge it for 30 minutes.

Hi, I tried factory resetting both the chromecast and controller but it didn't fix the problem. Now I try to keep it in charge for half an hour and try again!
I bought the controller only 3 weeks ago ![]()
thanks for your support
Hi @giuseppe_dan88,
Do you have seperate WiFi networks for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz?
I had some issues when the controllers are connected to the 5 GHz similar to your issue.
Resolved it by connecting to the 2.4 GHz WiFi network/SSID.
Hi @RXShorty ,
I use 2.4 GHz WiFi network/SSID.
I have solved using a functional charger and USB-C cable, plug your Stadia Controller into a power source to charge it for 30 minutes.
