Just wondering what the community thinks. Do you guys even want that feature? I would love it after trying the PS5's controller.
Well I think some things about the controller could be better (battery life for instance) however don't give Google any ideas! Before you know it there is a Stadia 2, Stadia 2 XL, Stadia 2a etc etc. ![]()
I would most definitely buy Stadia 2XL haha
Didn't had the chance to try out the new controller yet. But it would be a great feature and I would buy a new controller for Shure.
same here, I need a 2nd one anyway just in case but an upgraded one would be an insta buy for me
Gonna play dumb here, what is this haptic feedback on a Playstation controller you speak of? I legitimately don't know, just popped in here to sing praises of Stadia's current controller. It really is the most comfortable one I've ever used.
We have a third controller on the way, will probably slowly work up to one for each family member. Speaking of, does Stadia have a limit on how many controllers you can link to it? Dependent on game? I'm out of the loop on current game systems so I assume it's still somewhere in the realm of four to five using the old arbitrary limits (probably from when we had to physically plug them in). Kinda like only three save slots...
As stated in their FAQ, you can have up to 4 controllers linked to your account at the same time for local multiplayer game play
Huh, thanks for the info. Wonder why this is? Controllers are Wi-Fi, shouldn't be a technical limit to have more than four connected at once.
I would have to say that haptic feedback really hurts when my arthritis flares up. So, its a dead feature for me.
what about the regular vibrations we currently have? I feel like those are much more rough
Stadia pro control
If they do make a stadia pro controller, I hope they change around the left thumb stick and the d-pad, or at least make it an option as it's a little bit more comfortable with it being a big controller and all.
(and also maybe upgrade the triggers)
I do think Google should be working on more Tec to go along side stadia..there's still alot of the masses still not heard of stadia
I really like the Stadia controller. Would be nice to see some adjustments and some new colors. The only thing I don't like is that during a long gameplay session, the joysticks to me start to hurt. They're a little hard compared to some other controllers.
BUT... I did figure out just a couple days ago that some fairly cheap joystick pads that I previously bought for my XBOX controllers, fits and stays on MUCH better on the Stadia joysticks. I think the head of the Stadia joystick is a little bit wider than Xbox, so that's probably why the joystick pads fit better.
good to know! mind sharing the link?
I love the controller now, no issues I can think of at all. Battery life is a non-issue because I charge it when I am done playing and it's always ready for more. Does take a while to charge though. But I have two, so it works out.
I WOULD be curious what they would do with a new controller though.
