So I’ve had the stadia controller for a bit but recently I started using a Google TV and the controller won’t work with it. I’ve factory reset the google tv and the stadia controller but the controller won’t work. It vibrates and flashes the light like it’s connected, but it won’t do anything. Want should I Do?
@GooseHunter Maybe the battery is close to running out of battery? So it can stay on for a bit before turning off. Can you try leaving the controller charged for a few hours, or maybe the whole night? Just want to eliminate this possibility.
It's great that you've been in contact with support though. If you tried my suggestion above and it still doesn't work, you can try replying to them again and see what else they can do.
Try leaving the game controller plugged into a charger between sessions, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi (perhaps one from your 4G-connected phone) to see if those issues continue to occur or they no longer appear.
You can try checking the official help to reset the Stadia controller and reconfigure it: https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9584135
Try everything, I'm serious, most problems are solved by following the given steps, charge it more and in cases where you don't know what to do, simply reset it to the factory and configure it in a few minutes, enjoy =D.
@Blackgem @Ivan ueah I have tried everything I even got in contact with support and they did some refresh on there end and it work for that game session. I went to sleep and now I’m having the same issues that I have been having. For example I get the controller to connect and I’m able to start a game but then it stops working and the link a controller come up and then it stops showing and all I can do is open up the pop up menu but not actually play

@GooseHunter I agree with @Blackgem , you can try the steps in the article first and most of the time the issue can be solved.
You said that you've tried factory reset, but have you tried hardware reset as well? Are you able to pair the controller with your computer or phone? Also worth it to switch WiFi network if you're able to.
Also which Google TV are you using? Want to make sure it's supported.
If you have tried all the steps above and confirmed that none is working, then it may be hardware defect. You can try contacting support and see if they can get you a replacement
