I have a 2022 Samsung "The Frame" TV, which has Stadia built in.
I can link my controller and use it fine in-game, but as soon as I hit the Stadia (middle) button the controller stops working in-game. The Stadia menus work, so I can exit the game or Stadia, but when I go back to the game, it is as if it has frozen. The only buttons on the controller that work are the ones like Screenshot or going back to the Stadia menu.
This only happens with the Samsung TV. I have a Chromecast Ultra connected to another TV and the controller works fine here. I can go in and out of the menus at will.
I have reset my router and hardware reset the controller multiple times.
Does anyone have any ideas for how I can fix it?
@tking7 Since you already confirmed that there's no issue while playing with Chromecast Ultra, the issue may be with the Samsung TV. I also saw that you already try hardware reset, but have you try factory reset yet? It might be worth a try

Another thing you can try is to make sure your TV and Stadia app on your TV has the latest update. If that's not the case, please try update them first and see if the issue stille exists. You can also try to restart the Stadia app on your TV, as I've seen at least one person (not same TV) managed to solve their controller issue by doing it.
Please try the steps above and do let us know if you're still having issues?
I just tried both of these things (factory reset of controller & reinstalling Stadia App on the TV), and the exact same issue still occurs.
Very strange issue as the controller is clearly connected to the wifi correctly as I can control the Stadia menus, but as soon as I go back into the game it does not respond to inputs.
It seems like a lot of other people have had this issue in the past although maybe Google fixed it with a software patch but haven't yet done so for the Samsung Frame version?
@tking7 I don't own Samsung Frame TV so not sure what's going on with them. Have you checked that the TV itself has the latest firmware update?
Yes, the TV is definitely up to date with the latest firmware
