Controller won’t link to ipad

Hello,

I am able to connect my stadia controller to Chromecast, but when I try to connect to my iPad via the web app I receive the invalid link code response (two vibrations accompanied by an orange light). 

any ideas on what to do?

 

Ive done a factory reset, and re connected the controller to Wi-Fi using the stadia iOS app, but still no luck.

Is your ipad connected to WiFi? And if so does do you use some kind of VPN? :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hello @SuccintMan,

Consider that if both your controller & iPad aren't on the same network, it cannot work.
Pay attention to dualband (One can be on 2.4 GHz and the other on 5 GHz). Happened to me so much time. :grinning_face_with_sweat:

Hello SuccintMan,

Do you have Private Relay on your Wi-Fi connection on the iPad? If so, turn that off and it should now connect.
