So I got my Stadia controller from the YouTube Premium promotion. I took it out of the box and pressed the Stadia button, I felt the haptics for about half a second and then nothing. I went through the steps to reset the controller but nothing happened. When I plugged it into my computer, it shows up as being in bootloader mode. I'm assuming it's effectively bricked?
@hunt103 When the Stadia Controller is off, press and hold the Stadia button for three seconds until it vibrates twice. If this doesn't happen and you don't get any visual feedback then your suspicion might be correct and the controller could possibly be bricked.
Since you already tried resetting the controller and it didn't work you ought to be able to claim warranty on the hardware. Please refer the link below to know what is covered under warranty and the process involved.
