Controller not connect to Stadia App

I have 2 stadia controllers, they will not connect to the app however they do connect to chromecast. I attempt to connect by doing the combination and it looks like the controller connects (solid white light) but the app still says "connect controller". I have hard reset the controller, reinstalled the app. I would say it connects maybe 1 in 15 times which makes it unstable. I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 10 plus.  Obviously its the app. Any ideas?

Hey @CobraKai,

as far as I understand from this article it states that "Samsung Note 10+" should be supported. I am not sure though if this is exactly your phone/tablet as you mentioned "Samsung Galaxy Note 10+".

What you could easily check quickly is if you can enable the experimental mode. If so, your device is unsupported (and then does probably only run with the experimental mode).

  • To try playing Stadia on an Android device that is not currently supported, sign into the Stadia app on the device you want to try, open your Stadia settings, tap Experiments, then turn on Play on this device. This setting will only affect the device you set it on, and you can turn it off at any time. Note that your play experience may vary depending on your mobile device and network speed.

Apart from that I believe with resetting the controller and reinstalling the app you have already done something. What you could also do is walking through the steps mentioned in this article (especially restarting + checking for updates of the system). If this doesn't help either, it might be best to contact the Stadia support in this case to figure out why your controllers don't connect with the app properly.
