I turn on the controller enter the linking code for Chromecast ultra. It connects to Chromecast ultra. I see the stadia icon spinning on TV. Then my controller vibrates and orange light starts blinking. Chromecast ultra shows the message "link a Stadia controller".
Anyone else having similar issue? This (and all the other) connection issues with the controller are getting pretty frustrating and takes away the whole experience. I am ready to quit Stadia
@KaptaniDerya Blinking orange indicates that the controller isn't able to connect to WiFi. Has anything about your network changed since you first set up the controller and Chromecast Ultra? You'll need to set up the controller again:

If this is a recurring issue it might not be a bad idea to factory reset the controller first and then connect it to your WiFi network again:

I had the same issue and it was definitively a WiFi issue. Very rarely it still occurs then it helps if I press the Stadia button a little longer while turning until I feel the second vibration. This helps in my case if I'm stuck in the orange blinking loop (till then most often my WiFi is back on track too).

@dislocation Good tip! I pretty much always turn my controllers on by holding the Stadia button for about three seconds. That puts the controller directly into linking mode rather than trying to automatically reconnect to the last screen. It works very reliably for me. ![]()
