Good morning, I'm have an issue with my Stadia controller. It started about a week or so ago with my controller randomly disconnecting from the stadia app. This occurred 2 times. Then aging a few days later.
Yesterday, for the 1st time it shut down entirely. This morning it disconnected but when I linked the controller via the input code my button configuration was not correct, up on the directional pad = the A button. The X button = the Stadia S button. It was very off configuration.
I did perform a reset on the controller (factory) but the problem started again within a day of reset.
What options do I have?
This message was copied from my Twitter feed. I figured I would also see if anyone in the community had a similar experience with a possible solution.
@Rodzilla8735 I was going to suggest factory reset but you already did it. Have you also tried hardware reset?
If that still doesn't help, does this happen when you're pairing with all devices (like PC browser and TV for example)? If that's the case, then it sounds like a hardware malfunction. If that's indeed the case then you can try to contact support and see if they can get you a replacement.

I am currently using a Nvidia shield to stream Stadia. I did another factory reset this morning & I did a reboot of my system. I just have to wait and see.
I use this particular controller for this specific unit. I do have others in my home but I don't cross them. This is the only controller that is problematic.
I can wait.
