Controller issues

Jump to Best Response

Hi the R2 button on my controller has malfunctioned 3 times, meaning it acts like I'm pressing it when I'm not. Has anyone had this issue? Is it related to specific games or is the controller already broke? I've only had it for a week

@OkRuh Has this occurred only in one particular game? Or does this happen with every game you play? In which case it could be possible the controller is defective.

Once you're able to confirm, you can go ahead and claim the warranty on your controller. Please refer the link below for details on what is covered under warranty and the steps involved.

This has been something that has occurred to others over time, it's the controller and not you.  You'll have to work with support as @SanjaySyam has pointed out.  Just to let you know, they will likely require you take a video showing the malfunction occurring so you may want to think about how you're going to accomplish that ahead of time.
