Since changing WiFi router I cannot use Stadia anymore.
The controllers can connect to the WiFi according to the app.
They are on the same SSID and WiFi frequency as the Chromecast.
When I press the controller buttons displayed by Chromecast, the screen goes black and the Stadia logo appears. Then I get a dialog "Link a Stadia Controller" that shows the same key combination, except this time nothing happens if I press it.
I tried with two Stadia controllers without success.
Stadia app is iOS, up to date.
WiFi SSID is 5GHz, router is Ubiquiti UDM.
Both controllers are from the Founders Edition era, they both downloaded a firmware update upon connecting to the WiFi.
Hi @Bork,
I also had some connectivity issues but resolved these by splitting my WiFi SSID in one 2.4GHz and a 5GHz.
When the controller was connected to WiFi 5GHz it had some issues from time to time, but after connecting my controller to a 2.4GHz network the issues are resolved.
Maybe worth trying connecting your Stadia controller to 2.4GHz. ![]()
Edit: that only worked once. A day later the same issue is happening again... sigh
Fixed it!
The factory reset of the controllers NOR unplugging the Chromecast helped.
However... I enabled Jumbo Framed in my router and it worked.

Sorry, I just got lucky...
