My stadia controller has a white LED on all the time even when powered off and not plugged in. Still works fine, just wondering what would cause this.
I have even had my controller battery "die" and the LED is still on and white just won't work until I plug it in and charge it.
@Viberg I'm looking at the help support page and solid white basically the controller is on and linked to a screen and ready for gameplay. If it's constantly on then maybe some wires are crossed and there's hardware malfunctioned. If it still works fine then I guess it's fine, but if it really bothers you, might be worth to contact support and see if they can get you a replacement

Ya it's not a big deal where it still works fine, just haven't been able to find anything online where other people have had this issue, so was more curious then anything. It's outside of warranty so as long as it keeps working that's all that matters.
Hey @Viberg - It def should not be doing that...but I'm happy to hear it's still working! My Founder's edition started having weird issues like that and with the general wear I was putting it through - I decided to not use it anymore. A factory reset might solve the light issue, if it ends up annoying you enough
My first founders edition the charging port melted while charging about a month before warranty ran out and they replaced it no problem. If they ever go on sale for Canada I want to get a new one but we rarely get any sales.
