I've now been to 2 places with wifi, and I can't connect my Stadia Controller using the Stadia app on my Chromebook. It worked fine at home.
I even tried the hold Y and the Stadia button to turn it on to tell it to not use the old wifi and to use the new one. When the code comes up it doesn't connect the Stadia controlller to the Chromebook.
I also tried the samne thing with the Stadia app on my Samsung S10 phone with the same results.
For some reason I can only connect it to my phone and Chromebook on the Stadia apps on my home wifi which is what I initially used the Stadia controller on.
Please help.
Thank you.

Thank you. Factory reseting the controller worked. Appreciate your help.
Hi @Redhawk05
When you are at a location with a different WiFi do you also reset your Stadia controller? I am afraid you always have to reset your controller and connect it to the different WiFi network by setting it up using your phone and the Stadia app.
If I am somewhere with a different WiFi for a shorter time I always use the usb cable to play.
When I am at holiday location I reset my controllers when I am there and connect them to the new WiFi. And when I am home again, reset the controllers to use my home WiFi.
I tried reseting it at the new wifi but it didn't work. Supposedly, while the controller is off holding Y and then pressing the Stadia button to turn it back on puts it into the mode to look for a new wifi but it doesn't work. I didn't bring the USB cable with me.
Hi @Redhawk05
I am afraid a full reset is needed to setup it again. A factory reset is done by turning the controller on and after that: holding the Google Assistant button and the Screen capture button.
Now you need to open the Stadia app and configure your Stadia controller again like it came new out of the box.
Thank you. Factory reseting the controller worked. Appreciate your help.
Thank you. Is that the way its supposed to work? Every time you switch wifi networks with it you need to factory reset it?
