Adding second stadia controller

Jump to Best Response

Can anyone honestly just tell me how to add a second stadia controller so I can play two player stadium games on one screen. I don't need to know how to add any other control tender mode doesn't seem to do anything I would just really like to know how I can add a second authentic stadia controller to my stadia TV so that I can sit with my friends and look up at one monitor and play a two-player game on stadia

Hiya @Qst3

When using Stadia controllers you can connect by using th Stadia onscreen code.

If the first controller is connected press the Stadia button and within the menu go to the controller settings. It will show your connect code.

It works with the same code as your first controller. https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9578658

You can connect up to 4 controllers. Please be sure to setup all controllers with Stadia mobile app to get them connected to your WiFi

I will also add, the game needs to support local couch co-op or multiplayer (like Cake Bash). I like to use the database at https://airtable.com/shrHXaF85D1upSKSs/tblVXkiYyDsFwmiMa to filter for game modes. It is up to the individual game developers, not Stadia, to support those game modes.

Have been playing quite a bit of Human Fall Flat lately with my two younger children, it supports local co-op. There have been some almost Lego-game moments in co-op with that one...
