The iOS app is currently unplayable for me. I have had it work in the past, just checking the new web app out and today fenyx worked for a little bit. NBA 2k1 was unplayable. Both are crashing. I’ve had success with chrome desktop mode on my Fire HD 10 but lately when i play 2k21 on it, I have to restart chrome a few times to get it going. Even when restarting the iOS web app, I can’t get fenyx or 2k21 to run. I’m in Atlanta. I tried on iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.
It’s working after restarting my phone a few days later. I’m pretty sure I restarted that day too, but today I figured I’d try restarting before trying to create another app icon by adding to Home Screen again, to see if it helps. The restart helps.
I’m using a backbone controller. When I press the backbone button, redirect to their app, press it again, redirect back to stadia, it has a black screen but I can hear the game. I have to hold the backbone button to bring up stadia menu and select back to game, to get rid of the black screen. Just an FYI.
Hi @Sadie8686
which app do you mean? I think there is no official app in the App Store for Stadia?
Do you get any error message on your iOS Safari browser when playing Fenyx?
It’s the web app. I add the stadia site to my home screen, so there is no address bar for full screen. The error is always about the connection not being stable.
I’m testing all this on my home WiFi which has really good download and upload speeds. Once I switch to my tv on the chromecast ultra, the games are fine. Nothing else is using data on the network.
I even tried my 5G connection. Today it seemed like 2k21 was about to play fine but it gave the unstable connection error. I had to pause and when I returned it crashed. Same thing happened with fenyx yesterday. It was going fine at first then paused, and when I unpaused, it crashed and never could be playable again for either games.
Now it won’t open any game. Just tried watch dogs legion too. They all crash at opening sequences.
I also tried using both the stadia controller and backbone mobile controller. Only works on my CCU not my iPhone 12 Pro or 12 Pro max in the house.
