I have an open thread in general referencing my issue so I'll spare the words. But please fix the issue of being able to access/save game data to your HDD to protect against corruption and meet privacy concerns that come with platform ms like stadia. I'm so baffled this wasn't one of the most important aspect when architecing the platform and I hope it is fixed soon if stadia hopes to scale against Microsoft and Sony who is using Azure btw and can ensure this easily because people still have physical consoles to save data.
There are ways to access this i formation. There is a Google service that allows you to download and backup information stored on your Google account.
Can't remember the name now...
But if I remember correctly, saves are included there.
Thanks @Anvnamnet I think you mean Google Takeout correct?
@Oba-One hope this helps. ![]()
So you want a way to back up your data in case the internet goes down? You wouldn't be able to use it in any way. I get being careful and wanting to prevent loss but that's part of the appeal of Stadia, they keep it safe for you.
