Problem XBox controller linked via app to TV

Jump to Best Response

I am using a Bluetooth XBox Controller (most recent version) linked to TV via phone Stadia app.

While sticks and D-pad are working, the A, B, X and Y buttons are not.

Please, Google fix this.

I was able to play games using a Stadia Controller to select account and game, and then link the XBox Controller. Then the buttons A, B, X, and Y worked fine.

Google has just released another version of the Stadia app, and the problems seem to have been fixed.

Congrats, Google!

Hi @fmp,

Is this when trying to select a game to play or inside of a game?

I ask because I experienced this when using a different controller while trying to select a game to play but after the game is running it worked fine

It is when trying to select an account to play.

I can't even begin to play any game.

Ok @fmp, try using the touch controls first to select the account and select a game then go ahead and connect your controller to your phone
