Playing on desktop & constantly getting kicked out

Jump to Best Response

Hey everyone. I was playing Destiny 2 on Stadia today while streaming directly to YouTube, and for 1:33:53 the stream was just fine. I was streaming at 1080p 60Fps with no issues at all. It was a buttery smooth stream as I have 236 mbps down, and 12 up. But I was met with a boot during my stream to YouTube as well as Streaming Destiny 2. It's been happening a lot more often and I was wondering if it's a bug with Stadia or something. I'm not sure what I could do to possibly fix the issue, as the game will be running perfectly with no blurs or pixilated screen, but I just get kicked out without a chance to even recover the session. I have one device connected to my modem and that's my Desktop which is what I play Stadia on. If anybody could shed some light on this, maybe even a solution or reason for the issue, it'd be greatly appreciated!

@ArrayGoodGaming sometimes it can be hard to narrow down the root causes for these kind of causes. My first suspicion is that your ISP is currently experiencing some network issue, so your connectivity becomes intermittent.

Can you try monitoring it in the next day or two and see if the problem persists?

You can also try some of the tips advised in the article below and see if they help

Hi,

Have you tried a different network? to try to isolate the issue cause.

Another thing to try is a ping test that runs for a while on your desktop. the longer, the more helpful.

i am only asking because this sounds like an issue I had a while ago (back in November of 2020). it was hard to pin point due to everything running fine up until my sessions randomly get cut along with a live stream I was doing (when I was streaming). the solution I had was replace my modem. as soon as I did that the problem disappeared
