I have this problem only with Cyberpunk 2077. During the game a little percentage of the left and right side of the screen is cut. I tried adjust the settings on my TV but they are correct.
my tv is lg 49uj750v or 49uj7700
I have set the PC mode on the Chromecast input and the problem was solved.
Hey greentraveler,
can you try to set your TV settings to "just scan" (or similar) instead of 16:9 and report back if that works for you?
I know that you said that everything is correctly calibrated on your TV but sometimes there is a chance that there are different settings for different HDMI slots.
I have try the settings original (maybe just scan) and 16:9, the issue is the same
@greentraveler some games have in game settings to adjust the screen size, but doesn't look like Cyberpunk has it. Must admit I'm having the same issue with my TV, and there's no setting in the TV to adjust the size (it's a 10 year old plasma TV...)
I fired up the game on my Xperia 1ii and my CCU (older LG C6 55" OLED from 2016) and couldn't point out that issue. How do you see if there is an issue?
Will get my CX9 tomorrow and could test it out there as well.
I wasn't clear, when I say cropped, I mean that the edges of the screen are out of the edge of TV, like a zoomed in image. The texts that are at the left and at the right corners are clearly off screen. Even if I put the options 4:3, (this way I can see the edges of the image), the issue Is alwais there.
BTW tested in on the CX and no issues there.
The issue is a weird one but you are not alone ![]()
Hey, did you find a solution? I got this problem not only ingame but constantly. At the first use I was offered the possibility to adjust the shown picture to the surface of my tv. So I stretched the screen to fit/fill my 55‘ plasma on the sides. Now it‘s constantly cropped like you described and I can‘t find that option to adjust again. Even when resetting the chromecast and controller.
I have set the PC mode on the Chromecast input and the problem was solved.
