I am using a Xbox series controller that vibrates fine on other applications but on stadia, it doesn’t vibrate. I play on my tv using an onn android tv box. Do I have to enable something or is it just not supported?
@headqutar are you using 3rd party Xbox controller by any chance? Only the official Xbox controller is officially supported, so you may find quirks here and there otherwise.
No, I am using an official xbox controller. Everything but the vibrations work on Stadia. @Ivan
@headqutar is it happening for all games or just a particular game? Do you have any other controller (like the Stadia controller or PS4 controller) that you can try? If it's for a particular game, did you check if the game support vibration?
It’s for all games that I have, the games do support vibrations, and no, I don’t have any other controller to use. @Ivan
Hey @headqutar,
Just wanted to see if you were still having this issue. Do you know if your xbox controller vibration works with other gaming systems? We'd love to help with what we can.
Thank you,
James
My controller’s vibration works on everything but Stadia, I tried on my phone, laptop, and android tv box but, it doesn’t work.
Hey @headqutar,
Sorry about the late response, we've been looking into your problem and it's taken us a bit to make sure we can help. One thing I was asked to double check on from our support team was to verify which controller you have. Do you know the exact model of your Xbox controller? We want to make sure that your controller is found on our list of supported controllers. Also, how are you connecting your controller to your tv (wireless/wired - bluetooth etc.)? Let us know when you can.
Thank you,
James
Hey again, @headqutar,
Let us know if you still need help. If not, we'll go ahead and lock this topic in another day or so.
Thank you,
James
