This only happens when using a Chromecast (ethernet). Playing via Chrome on my PC (WiFI), it's flawless.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I pre-ordered mine two days ago and was planning to set up in same way with ethernet connection. I am reading cnn articles that chromecast ultra are generally getting heated up quick which leads to this issue. Are you playing on 4k HDR tv?

Nope, not on 4K HDR TV... I have the Stadia settings on balanced, and playing on an oldish Philips 1080p TV.
Same happens to me, playing in 4K TV... anyone could please help?
overheating most likely I talked to customer service they want to replace the whole chromecast but it doesn't make sense to me because replacing it will only continue the same exact problem
I've seen reports of overheating, but I don't think it's the case for my problem: although my chromecast gets hot, it systematically loses connection every 2 to 3 minutes into any game, it then boots me out to the Stadia main menu, it doesn't shut off the chromecast. I called Google support... and they don't seem to know much about this new product it seems. The google rep thought the games were streamed FROM my phone. Anyway, they're looking into it... and I don't anticipate a fast resolution really.
