Hi,
So I've beendet getting this: https://stadia.google.com/capture/4b8c26d0-7d68-4eca-9ce7-0a3b0be643c8 for a while now. Feels like since last update, because it was not like this before. So Google support pointed me towards Ubisoft support and Ubisoft says it's Stadia or my ISP's issue, but I have a100 Mbps connection that should be more than sufficient. All other games work just fine.
Any suggestion?
Hi,
So, turns out it is resolution related for me on the TV as in 1080 it just runs fine, but not in 4K.
Hi,
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be a Stadia related issue as there are other reports of similar issues on the internet. I can't seem to find a consistent workaround from my limited searching, but I'd keep an eye on the Ubisoft support forums and subreddit.
You could also reach out to Ubisoft customer support to see if they can advise further.

Hi Vivi,
Thanks for your reply. Ubisoft support says is it's Stadia side, but I'm not sure either. Yes, I've also seen these entries, but they're a bit different to mine and also on different platforms.
For me personally, I'm only seeming to get this on Chromecast but not when playing on the Chromebook. So makes me think if it could be graphics drivers or software Stadia side that differs, whether you play it on one or the other.
So Stadia says they're not responsible and Ubisoft says they're not responsible either and I paid for the game plus the Stadia Pro subscription - very frustrating as I prefer playing on the TV obviously as it replaced my old PS4.
But if Stadia keeps ignoring this, I will quit this platform and switch to Geforce Now, other cloud gaming platform or buy into the traditional new ones. Never had such issues on my old PS4. Very bad customer service - wait it doesn't exist!
I understand you're frustrated, but there are many reports of such issues with Valhalla and as you say, they are slightly different but also affecting different platforms. It doesn't seem to be a wider problem on Stadia, as most users aren't getting the issue from what I can see too.
One additional thing I'd like to check is whether you're using HDR, as I have seen many Ubi games in the past have graphical glitches with HDR. If so, could you try turning it off and checking if you still get the issue.
Hey,
Thanks for your answer. I actually had a good chat today with Google support and will do some further testing tonight.
Your idea with HDR is a good one, but can already be excluded, as my TV doesn't support it and hence isn't enabled.
I will try to test in 1080 again vs. 4K and then disconnect from ethernet cable to see if it also happens on wifi or not as it doesn't happen on Chromebook with 1080 and wifi.
Will post if I find something and should also talk to Google support again tomorrow.
